Growing up my Mom and Dad always put a HUGE emphasis on Birthdays. My Birthday Parties were ALWAYS over the Top! As I became an adult and had my first child, I hired a Party Planner to do my daughters first birthday party. After it was over, I thought to myself... this is it! This is what I want to do for the rest of my life!

Jumping in the Ring, in 1995... I had no experience! Well, you either have the skills or you don’t!! That's when I realized I was made for this industry!! I started and Event planning company that produced all types of Social events from Weddings, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Sweet 16 events, Quinceanera’s, Corp Events and more.

Between 2008 and 2011 I lost my both of my parents, The hardest thing I've had to deal with!  I left the event world as it was too emotional for me! Well, that didn't last very long! The event world was calling me back.

I took a position for a short time as a Member Retention Event Planner at a Country Club. I had the idea of doing what I called a Dive-in Movie. It was so successful that I came home told my husband I was quitting my job and starting an Outdoor Movie Event Company.

2011 “Outdoor Movies by You” was born!

We are not an A/V Company. We are an Outdoor Movie Event Company. Whether you would like a date night in your backyard or anywhere you choose or have an event where you want it all.
