We are an experience driven event company dedicated to producing unforgettable moments that bring people together.

Outdoor Movies By You is an Outdoor Movie Event Company, not an A/V company. We don’t simply deliver equipment, we create complete movie night experiences. From intimate backyard date nights to large-scale movie events at the location of your choice, our team manages the details from setup to breakdown so every event feels seamless and stress-free.

Our signature basic package, The Actor, includes a professional outdoor movie setup plus FREE fresh popcorn, because no movie experience is complete without it.

OMBY Events is our dedicated event-producing division, focused exclusively on the planning and production of any and all social events. From celebrations and gatherings to fully customized experiences, OMBY Events brings creative direction, thoughtful enhancements, and elevated execution to every occasion.

Through OMBY Events or Outdoor Movies by You, clients can elevate their experience with curated food bundles, including Pizza & In-N-Out options, along with candy, popcorn, and party favors that create a complete, immersive event atmosphere.

Our Story

Celebrations have always been in my DNA. Growing up, my parents believed in going big for birthdays and creating unforgettable moments. After Hiring a Party Planner for my daughters 1 year old Birthday I thought to my self, Why did I do that?! I could have done all this myself! But that made me decide, I knew this was what I was meant to do.

I entered the event industry in 1995 with no formal experience, just instinct, creativity, and a love for bringing people together.

Over the years, I produced all types of social events, from milestone celebrations to corporate gatherings.

​

Between 2008 and 2011, I lost both of my parents, the hardest chapter of my life.

I stepped away from the Event World for a short time, but the industry that shaped me was calling me back.

While working as an event planner at a country club, I created a Dive-In Movie event that was an instant success.

​

That night I came home looked at my husband and said "I am going back in it" He looked at me and said "In what?"

That moment sparked a new vision and in 2011, Outdoor Movies By You was born.

We are not an A/V company. We are an Outdoor Movie Event Company. From backyard date nights to full-scale events, the OMBY Cast creates complete experiences—not just setups. Our signature package, The Actor, includes FREE fresh popcorn, with optional food bundles featuring Pizza, In-N-Out, and Chick-fil-A, plus candy and party favors.
